FARRIER

We are highly fortunate at Strömsholm to have 'Master Farrier' Mikael Westberg as part of our team. This gives us a unique opportunity to have the veterinarians and farrier working side by side with the goal of providing our orthopaedic cases the best service possible.

In addition to working with multiple laminitis cases, with positive results, Mikael commonly treats both routine and highly challenging cases, such as 'nail in the foot' - 'streetnails', coronary band injuries, quarter cracks, hoof abscess and club footed horses.

Mikael has competed extremely successfully around Europe and earned the honour of being a Swedish and Norwegian 'Master'.
