Assistant Professor, Comparative Ophthalmology, University of Florida 2005-2008. Diplomate American College Veterinary Ophthalmologists 2007. Särskild kompetens att diagnosticera ärftliga ögonsjukdomar. Specialistkompetens i hundens och kattens sjukdomar. Specialist i ögonsjukdomar. Särskilt intresse i hästens ögonsjukdomar. Fritiden spenderar Maria helst med sina egna hästar.
